The Challenge

A metaverse startup approached us to design a several features for their white-label platform to be used by brands creating a metaverse experience. I worked with a team of Unity developers. All designs below are the high-fidelity wires I created.

Moderation Mode

Users of this metaverse platform can join the space as their avatar and view a presentation. The screens below show what a moderator of that presentation sees and can do the following:

  • Manage a curated feed of audience questions: Moderators can create a customized feed for presenters to sort through.

  • Screening audience questions: Moderators screen questions and can initiate a two-way call to speak to questioners.

  • Room controls: Moderators can remove users from room and view all participants.

Audience Question Mode

Users/avatars in the metaverse rooms an ask a question of the presenter by raising their hand and/or submitting a question. The screens below illustrate the flow that users move through to submit. Users can continue to view the presentation as they await an answer.

Presenter Mode

Presenters are able to view the curated feed of questions as well as all expected controls within a video cast presentation. Questions may be dismissed and show a preview of the users question.
